How ordering works: stock, supplier-direct and team orders

Some items ship from our shelves, some come supplier-direct, and team orders behave differently again. How to read delivery expectations and order without surprises.

How ordering works: stock, supplier-direct and team orders

Not everything in the catalogue sits on our shelves, and the difference decides your delivery time. Here is how it works.

Stocked items are picked and sent quickly — the core chefswear, the popular boot sizes, gloves and everyday kit. If it is standard and common, it is probably stocked.

Supplier-direct items come to us or to you from the brand. That covers unusual sizes, full size runs for teams and ranges we carry selectively. The lead time depends on the supplier — ask and we will confirm a date before you order.

Personalised items add embroidery or printing time on top. Names, logos and role titles go on after the garments arrive, so a personalised team order takes the supplier lead time plus the decoration run. Order these earliest.

Team orders are their own rhythm. The pattern that works: agree sizes first (a fitting session in the shop, or one sample of each garment), then place the bulk order in one go. Volume discounts apply automatically on qualifying orders, and one order in one batch means one delivery, one invoice and everyone dressed the same week.

Returns behave differently by type, too. Stocked items are straightforward. Made-to-order, personalised and hygiene-sealed items carry their own terms — check before ordering in volume, and if a size is wrong, contact us before posting anything back so the exchange is already agreed.
